I'm Jayson

...and I absolutely LOVE what I do.

I get to capture moments that will never happen again.  I get to present products in a new and interesting light.  I get to see the look on a person's face when I make their passion project look like it belongs in a magazine.

My grandpa gave me my first camera when I graduated high-school, a Sony Cybershot DSC-W30. I was attending Missouri University of Science and Technology 14 years ago, studying Mechanical Engineering, when I realized my passion for photography using that camera. Soon after, I chose to make this my life's work.  I eschewed the stable, steady life and income of an engineer for the often-tumultuous, frequently exciting, and emotionally filling realm of freelance photography and filmmaking.

Photography and filmmaking have taken me places I could have never imagined - garages full of super cars, private jets, fire engines, the shops of some of the best hot rod builders in the world, the Zamboni tunnel during the Stanley Cup, the list goes on - and I am eager to see where it takes me in the future.
